Carpet Cleaning in Greater Seattle
Monarch Cleaning Services cleans carpets for homes, rental turnovers, multifamily common areas, offices, schools, and churches across Greater Seattle. The usual method is truck-mounted hot water extraction. Standard pet deodorizing is included in every carpet cleaning.
How a carpet cleaning works
The technician inspects the carpet, pre-treats spots and traffic lanes, then cleans with a truck-mounted hot water extraction machine. Stairs are cleaned per step. You can clear the carpeted rooms, or we move furniture as part of the service. Before arrival, pick up small items, secure pets, and make sure the van can park close and reach a water spigot.
Drying time
A typical dry time is about 4–8 hours. It depends on ventilation and the carpet. That is a usual range, not a promise that every carpet will be dry in a set number of hours.
Residential, turnovers, and commercial
We clean bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and stairs in homes, plus vacant-unit turnovers and occupied units for property managers. Commercial work includes offices, schools, churches, and multifamily common areas, as a one-time job or on a recurring schedule. Friday and Saturday commercial appointments can be arranged with notice.
Restoration is no longer offered
Water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and hardwood floor drying are retired services. Carpet cleaning is the work we do now.

What to expect
Not every stain can be fully removed. Urine that has soaked into the pad or subfloor may not come out completely with surface cleaning. We never guarantee complete stain or odor removal. If a treated odor comes back shortly after a job, we come back and re-treat that area.
Frequently asked questions
How much does carpet cleaning cost?
We quote the job when you book. Rates are not published on the site. Book online or call and tell us the rooms, stairs, and anything you want treated.
How long will my carpet take to dry?
A typical range is about 4–8 hours, depending on ventilation and the carpet. That is usual drying time, not a guarantee.
Can you get pet urine smell out?
Standard pet deodorizing is included in every carpet cleaning. Surface cleaning cannot promise to remove urine that has soaked into the pad or subfloor. If a treated odor comes back shortly after the job, we come back and re-treat the area.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. You can clear the carpeted areas, or we move furniture as part of the service.
How much are stairs?
Stairs are cleaned per step. We quote the number of steps when you book. A stair rate is not published here.
What should I do before you arrive?
Pick up small items, secure pets, and make sure the van can park close and reach a water spigot.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
We need access to the home and a usable water spigot. For many houses someone is there to let us in. Property-manager jobs are often handled with a lockbox or garage code in the job notes. If you will not be there, say so when you book so access can be confirmed.
How do I book, and how soon can you come?
Book online or call 206.782.2994. Regular routes run Monday through Thursday. We confirm the next available time when you book. We do not promise same-day service.
What if the smell or stain comes back after?
If a treated odor issue resurfaces shortly after a job, we come back and re-treat the area.
Do you clean rugs and upholstery too?
Yes. Area rug cleaning and upholstery cleaning are separate services. Tell us about the rug or furniture when you book so we can say whether on-site cleaning is appropriate.
Do you offer recurring cleaning for offices or property portfolios?
Yes. Recurring vacant-unit turns are a regular part of the work, and both one-time and recurring commercial cleaning are offered.
Are your products safe for kids and pets once dry?
We do not publish a non-toxic or green product claim. Plan on a typical dry time of about 4–8 hours. If you have a specific concern about children or pets, tell us when you book.
